If you are looking for a new printer, you have many types of printers available on the market. One type is a laser jet printer. There are many benefits of choosing this type of printer, three of which are listed below.

Ink Does Not Smudge

If you print with an inkjet printer, you must let the print dry before you touch it. If you do not, the print will smudge. With a laserjet printer like the HP LASERJET PRO MFP M521DN, however, the print comes out completely dry so you could touch it immediately and it would not smudge even a little.

This works first by using a type of static electricity that sticks the ink to the paper. The ink is then fused to the paper, using heat. The heat is what causes the ink to dry automatically. If you print out images, they will not smudge at all, either. Even if you get the paper wet, such as if it is touched with sweaty hands, the ink will not smear at all.

This is especially beneficial if you have a large print job, such as for a client. This means you can print everything out immediately and not have to worry about the words or images not being clear.

Less Cost

Laserjet printers have dropped in price over the years. The ink cartridges, however, are more expensive when compared to toner cartridges used for inkjet printers. Even though this is true, the inkjet cartridge will run out way before the laserjet cartridges will. This does depend on the model of printer you purchase, but in most cases, inkjet cartridges will last around 100 to 200 pages, whereas laserjet cartridges will last for thousands of pages.

You can also purchase laserjet cartridges that you can have refilled instead of purchasing brand new cartridges. Over time, this can save you a considerable amount of money, especially if you have to print a lot each day.

Prints Faster

A laserjet printer does take time to warm up, but once it does, the printer will will print much faster when compared to inkjet printers. This is great for you if you have a business and often have large print jobs to do.

Laser printers also have larger paper trays than inkjet printers do. This means you can fit more paper into the tray so the printer can continue printing without stopping for you to add more paper to the tray. This will save you a considerable amount of time.

Talk with the salesperson where you are planning to purchase your laser printer, and they can give you much more information.

About Me
Identifying Employees Who Will Excel

When you manage a large company, you will likely have several employees who rely on you to provide them with direction and gainful employment. However, doing your due diligence to make your company as successful as possible is important, since not everyone who works for you will be looking out for your best interests. I started thinking more seriously about how to identify workers who were looking out for my best resources a few months back, and it was neat to pay closer attention to how they were contributing to our company. Use this blog to learn more about business, since the right workers can make a powerful difference.
